COVID-19: HOW BOC IS RESPONDING
Find out more about the steps we are taking as a health care provider to flatten the curve and keep everyone safe. There are also local and state resources that may be helpful. We will keep this page updated regularly as we receive more information about COVID-19. Stay safe and healthy!
COVID-19 VACCINE CLINICS
We are pleased to have several community partners to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to many of our residents and frontline team members! The first clinics with CVS Health at the height of the pandemic were a huge success! We also partnered with Randol Mill Pharmacy for our most recent events. Our next vaccine clinic will be held on our campus and will be made available to anyone in the community! This will be through a unique partnership with Tarrant County Public Health Department. Check out our events page for pictures from the events. |

NOW OFFERING SERVICES THROUGH HEALTH PLAN PROVIDER NETWORKS We are pleased to announce that we are in-network with several managed care health plans to provide long-term support services. Through the STAR+PLUS and Star Kids programs, eligible individuals who have disability-related Medicaid can receive basic health services (acute care) and long-term care such as:
Our care management team will also work with the service coordinators, doctors and other providers to help members get the medical and other long-term services and support they need. Visit the HHSC STAR+Plus page (External Website) or HHSC STAR Kids page (External Website) for more information. |
EMPLOYMENT FIRST INITIATIVES We have recently expanded our care management team to include a department specifically for employment services. With a focus on promoting independence, person-centered care, and opportunities for competitive employment, we can offer employment assistance (helping them find a job) and supported employment (helping them maintain their job) for all program participants who are interested. We collaborate with the Texas Workforce Commission (formerly called DARS) to offer individualized support. Employment is a fundamental value and ambition in American culture, and people with disabilities want to be a part of their communities just as everyone does. Through these initiatives we are committed to ensuring that people with disabilities have access to meaningful employment services in the community. |
